David was born in Edinburgh and brought up in Renfrew, just outside Glasgow. At the age of 13, David started photographing aircraft as a hobby and a way of relaxation from this, David developed a passion for media and photography. David left school in 2009 and went onto further education at Reid Kerr College, Paisley where he studied Photography through to HND Level graduating college in 2012 where he launched Scottish Photography Productions. Fast forward 10 years later, today Scottish Photography Productions are specialist photographers with a passion for industry, the people who work in it and the equipment they use. Scottish Photography Productions are specialists in all types of Aviation, Construction, Commercial, Demolition, Events, Haulage, Industrial, Marine, Maritime, Pyrotechnics, Press, PR, Rail Engineering Industries, and Rail Photography.

Scottish Photography Productions work with businesses across Scotland and Across the Globe to help them show off the things that make them great. Quality photographs showcases the best of your brand. At Scottish Photography Productions we use some of the latest imaging equipment from Nikon, we regularly supply images and editorial features to some of the leading UK & European publications such as Heavy Torque, Demolition News, Trucking Magazine and Ports Of Scotland Yearbook, these are just a few regular clients we have worked alongside with. We also regularly work alongside some of the major equipment manufacturers supplying them with press releases, editorial and imagery as per the clients brief. For peace of mind for our clients, all our photographers carry CSCS (Yellow) Site Visitor cards along with £5 Million public liability insurance.
